Reactive Glaze - The heat of the kiln causes the glaze to react with the natural elements and impurities in the clay. These can show up in the form of 'freckles' or other marks for added character. The edges of reactive glaze products will show a different tone, and depending on where it is placed in the kiln, each product will have a different intensity of colour change to the edges. Therefore, each item is unique to one another and may differ from the photographs.
